OmniStick S8X

How do I update my OmniStick?

The OmniStick can be updated using the USB Burning Tool. The OmniStick comes with a MicroUSB power wire, which can also be used to update the device’s firmware.

To update the firmware, load the firmware IMG file into the USB Burning Tool and click “Start”, hold down the reset button on the OmniStick (the tiny hole on the OmniStick has a reset button hidden). While holding the reset button, plug the OmniStick into your PC. The update process will begin automatically. Once it’s complete you can disconnect the stick and use it on your television with the new firmware.

Firmware options for the OmniStick S8X are currently in development. Please check back later as we have a lot of different firmware options being made for this device.
